AFRICMIL is a non- governmental organisation that focuses on media, information research, advocacy and training. It aims to promote media and information literacy as a key component in the enhancement of democracy and good governance and the promotion of accountability and orderly society.
As part of its good governance initiative, AFRICMIL launched Corruption Anonymous (CORA) in January, 2017. CORA aims to build public confidence in and support for Whistleblowing policy of the Nigerian government and advocate for clear rules and guidelines for the safety of whistle-blowers.
Ahead of the 2017 World Anti-corruption Day (December 9th) and to mark the one year anniversary of the introduction of the Whistle-blower policy, AFRICMIL held a media dialogue on December 7, 2017. The theme of the media dialogue was, “Fight against corruption in Nigeria: One year after the whistle blowing policy”.
